Lisa is the owner and President/CEO of LW Consulting, Inc., headquartered in Harrisburg, PA, with offices in Jenkintown and Atlanta. Lisa was President and CEO of the predecessor company, ZA Consulting, LLC and established LW Consulting in January 2005 to acquire the assets of ZA Consulting, LLC. Lisa has been instrumental in the firm's expansion into new geographic areas and in the development of many of the firm's consulting service offerings
Lisa Wilt is a nationally recognized expert and advisor to clients in the health care industry. She has consulted in the private sector and governmental clients across the United Stated over the last 20 years on a broad range of financial, management, operational, strategic and regulatory issues.
Through LW Consulting, Lisa operates a practice offering a broad spectrum of compliance auditing, business planning, financial advisory and consulting services, reimbursement consulting services, risk management, marketing and strategic services to healthcare, senior living and long term care providers. Lisa's experience includes assisting a variety of providers in ensuring they are in compliance and that their business strategies are ideally positioned for long-term success.
Lisa has served as an expert witness in health care matters, supporting providers in management agreements, arbitrations and courts issues including Federal Bankruptcy Court. She has prepared expert reports on regulatory issues in the long-term care setting and provided expert litigation support in transactions, operations, bankruptcy, Medicare and Medicaid billing issues.
As an expert in all health care delivery platforms ranging from the acute care to retirement housing sectors, Lisa's clients include long-term care facilities, hospital-based facilities, CCRC's, multi-facility organizations, community- based providers.
Prior to establishing LW Consulting, Inc., Lisa was the President and CEO of ZA Consulting, LLC and a member of the management of the Healthcare Consulting Group of Zelenkofske Axelrod & Ltd. CPAs since 1992 and was integral in the restructuring ZA Consulting, LLC as a separate unrelated consulting company in 1997. Prior to her consulting experience, Lisa spent six years as a Cost Specialist and Acquisition Analyst for one of the nation's largest operators of senior housing and long-term care facilities. In this role, Lisa handled all third-party reimbursement issues, financial analysis, acquisition due diligence, appeals and operation analysis for facilities in Florida, Pennsylvania, Washington, Connecticut and Minnesota.
Lisa's involvement in health care industry trade associations includes the Assisted Living Federation of America, American Health Lawyers Association, National Association of Support for Long-Tern Care, Healthcare Financial Management Association and various national and state health care associations. Lisa serves on the Pennsylvania Health Care Association's Payment for Services Advisory Panel.
