Michael Megill, MBA Senior Director Michael Megill, Director, LW Consulting, Inc. is a proven professional with 23 years of healthcare and management experience. Michael is a member of LW Consulting's Executive Committee, responsible for setting the course for the company's vision and associated business strategies. Michael is responsible for consulting related to hospital based services with a focus on specialty hospitals including rehabilitation and behavioral health facilities. Michael has extensive experience in managing clinical and support services for healthcare facilities. He has specialized expertise in conducting comprehensive operational assessments across the entire acute care spectrum including extensive reviews of clinical departments' productivity and operational systems to increase service effectiveness and efficiency. Special focus is placed on compliance with the Inpatient Rehabilitation PPS, Behavioral Health PPS and regulatory changes in the outpatient arena. Michael has restructured the organizational and operational aspects of inpatient and outpatient facilities to provide accessible and convenient services in a setting responsive to the unique needs of the patient population served. Client sites include acute care hospitals, long-term care facilities, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, behavioral health facilities and outpatient facilities. Special focus is placed on developing and integrating rehabilitation programs within a service continuum that may include acute, sub-acute, long term care, home health and outpatient services. Michael has successfully established numerous Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities and has been responsible for ongoing oversight of clinical and support services for these new providers. Prior to joining LW Consulting, Michael was Regional Director, Rehabilitation Affiliates, located in Wayne, Pennsylvania.
