Who is Patty Klinefelter?
Patty Klinefelter, Director of LW Consulting Inc.’s Home Health and Clinical division, has been with the company for one year. With her extended experience as an engagement director and project manager, she brings a substantial amount of knowledge to performing compliance audits, developing policies and procedures, survey readiness, and implementing new technologies such as telehealth.
What do you do to help LWCI clients?
I help clients successfully complete chart audits and mock surveys while also providing education on assessment tools, such as OASIS for home health. I also help educate clients on new or revised regulations, how to implement new technology, due diligence and perform operation assessments.
What do you enjoy most about the work you do at LWCI?
What I enjoy most about the work I do is getting to work directly with clients. This gives me the opportunity to see their success first hand. I also enjoy the variety of the work that I get to be a part of.
What inspired you to get into the business of healthcare consulting?
I get inspired by having knowledge of the industry that allows me to help other people in the industry and the feelings that I get when I know that I have successfully helped those people.
What is some advice you would give to others starting out in the profession?
It is important to always be willing to learn. Use your experience to help others but remember to look from other's prospective. In this industry, it is key to have the ability to sell yourself and your products.
